Since 1949, the source for engineered solutions to corrosive, abrasive, and ultrapure pumping problems
For over 75 years, Vanton Pump & Equipment Corp. has been the preeminent leader in the manufacture of thermoplastic pumps and systems.
Vanton’s product line includes vertical and horizontal centrifugal pump models, Sump-Gard and Chem-Gard, respectively, as well as the peristaltic Flex-I-Liner and Pump/Tank systems, which are ideally suited for transfer, neutralization, disinfection, dosing, effluent collection, odor control, lift station and recirculation in new or retrofit applications, involving the handling of corrosive, abrasive or ultrapure fluids.
Every Vanton pump is engineered for specific applications, and are available in configurations including cantilevered, close-coupled, integral-motor shaft, bearingless, sealless, self-priming, magnetic-drive, Vortex, ANSI, and DIN. While Vanton’s chemically inert thermoplastic components do not corrode, they provide a long, trouble-free service life and prevent contamination of reagent-grade chemicals and other ultrapure fluids. By contrast, metal pumps made of stainless steel, titanium, and other noble alloys have acceptable annual corrosion rates.
The wet end components of every Vanton pump are thick-sectioned, stand-alone, injection molded, homogeneous thermoplastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). These materials make them corrosion and abrasion resistant to acids, caustics, salts, solvents, chlorides, halogens, and other abrasive and aggressive chemicals that pumps made from metals and fiberglass reinforced plastics cannot withstand.
